AFTER FEVER
CARE
During fever, the whole system including the digestive organs is undermined and weakened. Con- valescence will be hastened if tissue can be quickly rebuilt and strength restored by building up reserves. The patient must be encouraged to take as much nourishing food as the capacity of the weakened digestive organs will allow. Doctors all over the world have found that Horlicks supplies the right kind of nourishment in an easily digested form. Furthermore, it is palat- able and helps to stimulate the appetite. Get Horlicks to-day, at your store. In an amazingly short time you will be up and strong again, full of vigour and vitality.

CHUNGKING WELCOMES THE SOONG SISTERS
Chungking, To-day.
A brilliant function was held here yesterday afternoon when Madame Chiang Kai- shek entertained her sisters, Madame Sun Yat-sen and Madame H. H. Kung, at garden party.
a
More than 200 ladies of the war- time capital attended the reception, including Mesdames Feng Yu-hsiang, Ho Ying-chin, and Ma Chao-chun.
Lady Clark Kerr, wife the Bri- tish Ambassador, was among
dis- tinguished foreign guests.
At tea time, Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek, in a short address, said that the arrival of Mesdames Sun and Kung was not only welcomed in re-Chungking but provided a cause for
rejoicing in the whole country,
Madame Chiang paid tribute to her sisters and said they were not only her sisters but also friends of China's womanhood. She briefly recounted the good work done by both during the present war, and concluded by hoping that both would remain in Chungking to lead the na- tion's women to the struggle for final victory. Nothing would make her more happy than to see this hope realised.
Both Madame Sun and Madame Kung made delightful speeches in reply.--Central · News.
