LONDON, TO-DAY. IN CONNECTION WITH GERMAN COAL EXPORTS TO ITALY, POLITICAL CIRCLES STRESS THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT HAS MADE IT PLAIN THAT BRITAIN IS READY TO SUPPLY ITALY WITH BRITISH COAL IRRESPECTIVE OF THE- RESULTS OF THE ANGLO-ITALIAN TRADE NEGOTIATIONS, AND THEREFORE ITALIAN IN- DUSTRY WILL NOT SUFFER FROM THE EX- TENSION OF THE BLOCKADE. Diplomatic circles point out that British public opinion unreservedly supports the Govern- ment's firm action.
Meanwhile, in Rome, Italian press comment on the
