NEWS WAS RECEIVED HERE yesterday of an amazing trek across 2,000 miles of Central Africa by troops from Northern Rhodesia, who have now arrived in Nairobi, Kenya, after a journey in 200 motor vehicles from Lusaka, the Northern Rhodesia capital.
They made the trip in six units and were completely self-
supporting.
They consisted of the First Battalion the Northern Rhodesia Regiment, at full war strength; the Regiment's first- line transport; an ambulance unit; and a supply com- pany of the Northern Rhodesia Army Service Corps.
