"Regime Fasciata" asserts that the British are motivated by the Italian refusal to sell arms to Britain.

"Britain wants to compel Italy to buy Welsh Coal, and thereby compel Italian shipping to run risks in the North Sea," the paper continues.

B.I. SHIP BOMBED IN THE CHANNEL

A tragically heavy death- roll is feared as the result of an attack by German bomb- ers on the B.I. steamer Domala (8,441 tons) in the Channel yesterday.

Several direct hits were scored on the vessel and it is: believed that the list of ca- sualties exceeds 150.

It is understood that there were a number of Britons re- turning from India on board.

The attack is reported to have been carried out by three Heinkels, and five dir- ect hits are believed to have been registered.

The attack was carried out in moonlight at 4 o'clock yes- terday morning. The ship was sunk.

Although Viborg is no longer of strategic importance to the Finns they are continuing the resistance on the principle of never conceding ground without inflicting the maxi- mum loss on the enemy.
