TEN HIGH EXPLOSIVE AND A NUMBER OF INCENDIARY BOMBS WERE DROPPED BY BEVEN RUS- SIAN PLANES ON THE SWEDISH VILLAGE OF PAJALA, FIVE MILES FROM THE FINNISH FRONTIER, YESTERDAY.
THE MAIN ROAD RUNNING THROUGH THE VILLAGE WA8 DESTROYED BUT NOBODY WAS INJURED.
VISIBILITY WAS GOOD AT THE TIME AND BURPRISE IS EXPRESS- ED THAT THE RUSSIAN AIRMEN SHOULD HAVE MADE A MISTAKE ABOUT THEIR POSITION. REU. TER.

Loss Of Dutch Tanker

It is feared that the Dutch motor- tanker Den Haag (8,971 tons) was lost on the voyage from New York to Rotterdam.

CREW RESCUED
Havas says that the latest Nor- wegian sinkings include the Teenstad, the Salviken and the Sangstad. The crew of the Salviken was picked up by a British naval vessel and landed at a coast port. The captain stated that they had been in the boats for 12 hours, darkness was coming on a big storm blowing up.
NORWAY'S LOSSES

Norway's losses now amount to 49 ships, totalling 188,327 tons, it was unnounced here yesterday.
Altogether 327 Norwegians have been killed by the Nazi sea warfare.
