IN CONNECTION WITH the announcement of the Anzac's arrival in the Near East, authorized Paris circles point out that a Near-East Allied Army is being rapidly organized.
Troops from different lands and of different nation- alities are being massed in Egypt, Aden, Pales- tine, Syria, Lebanon and Iraq.
Most important of all is the French Army in Syria, of several divisions. Next come the British forces in Egypt and in Iraq, which were recently reinforced.
The troops are kept in readiness to move and can be transported swiftly to any point where aggression threa- tens; they can also give support to the Turkish Army.
The Turkish Army is 600,000 strong improved and is being technically daily; it benefits from the Allies' most modern material.
