The girl was congratulated at the inquest on George Gladwin, sixty-two, of Edensor-street, Beswick. A verdict of Accidental death was recorded.
The city coroner, Mr. Jessel Ry- croft, said the man was very foolish to refuse the assistance of the girl, who had shown herself to be very sensible.
