New Delhi, To-day. A bill aimed at amendment of the Indian Coinage Act was introduced at the budget session of the Central As- sembly yesterday by Sir Jeremy Rais- man, the Finance Member.
The measure proposes to reduce the Aneness of the present four anna coin from 11/12ths silver and 1/12th alloy to half silver and half alloy.
