STRANGLED BY MACHINERY

An extraordinary accident in a dairy- caused the death of Miss Elise Wilson, of Ballynure, Co. Antrim.

She was washing up after churning when water leaking into the troughs set the machinery in motion. Miss Wilson was caught up by her clothing, which twisted round her neck and strangled her.

Her niece tried desperately, but in vain, to cut her down in time.
