THE AIR MINISTRY has released further details of Wednesday's air battle between R.A.F. bombers and Nazi fighters.
The planes, nine Bristol Blenheims, were recon- noitring in formation at a height of 5,000 feet when they were intercepted by the new fast Mes- serschmidt-110 at a point about 150 miles north- west of the German island of Borkum.
