Innumerable little ones who were not making steady upward progress have shown surprising response to Baby's Own Tablets treatment. Almost from the day the child was given its first dose of these Tablets improvement has been noticeable, followed by steady development all round. Appetite increases and digestion begins to function normally, intestinal action becomes regular and the child grows plump. firm and strong. Teething pains vanish almost as if by magic. | Cowdenbeath What was formerly an ill-tempered, moody, feeble infant becomes changed

Despite their ordeal, the spirit of these airmen is as strong as ever. They are living for the day when, in British aircraft and with British armament, they can return to the light. They are being given another chance, and this time the odds will certainly not be against them.
FULL OF ENTHUSIASM
R.A.F. officers who have had the task of getting their Polish "recruits" housed in an R.A.F. station are full of admiration for their new charges.
One officer said: ."Those who have arrived so far are a magni. ficent body of mon. All have plenty of actual flying experience and they are full of enthusiasm. Not only will pilots, observers, gunners and wireless operators be found for air crews, but aircraft maintenance will also be undertaken by Polish personnel
Some are already "ace" pilots. One has been a test pilot for a big Polish aircraft firm for several years and has often been to England to fly "Spit- fres" and similar high-powered Ser- vice planes. Another, a sergeant, has already experienced being shot down by Germans. He managed to escape and then found his way out of Poland in time to join his colleagues.
.Several already speak English.
