WEDDING AT DEATH OF ST. PAUL'S
THE WEDDING TOOK PLACE THIS AFTERNOON AT ST. PAUL'S CHURCH, OF DR. H. H, TAI, ELDEST SON OF MR. AND MRS. T. K. TAI, AND MISS RUTH YUE FUNG U, ELDEST DAUGHTER OF MR. AND MRS. U SZ WING.
Mr. U. Sz Wing, the compradore of Dodwell's, gave the bride away, while Miss Mabel U, Miss Kwan Chau U U Wing You (bridesmaids) Miss (flower-girl). and Master Titus Cheung (page) were in attendance.
A reception was afterwards held at the Gloucester Hotel.

THE DEATH OCCURRED THIS MORNING AT HIS RESIDENCE, 65. WATERLOO ROAD, OF MR. MANUEL AUGUSTO DE FIGUEI- REDO, AFTER A PROLONGED ILLNESS.

BEEFSTEAK HIDDEN AMONG MEAT BONES
At Kowloon this morning, Li Kam, 18, Dairy Farm delivery coolie, was charged with stealing half a pound of beefsteak.
Li Kam was seen leaving, carrying bag, by Mr. W. Abbas, Farm In- spector. The beefsteak was conceal- ed among bones in the bag. A remand was ordered.

At the instance of Sanitary Inspec- tor H. F. Old, Mr. C. L. Crampton, of No. 2. Cumberland Road, was this inarning summoned before Mr. Q, A. A. Macfadyen for overtaking on a bend in Castle Peak Road and for driving without a valid licence.
Mr. Crampton, who pleaded guilty by letter, was fined $20.
A fine of $10 was imposed on Mrs. of No. 11, Tak Shing S. Marshall,
at 40 m.p.h. in a Street, for driving "built-up" area.
