AN EARTHQUAKE OCCURRED in several regions

in Anatolia yesterday.

Four shocks were felt, two of which were of some

strength.

It is feared that the number of casualties may run into hundreds as scores of villages are reported to have been destroyed and several large-sized town's have been silent since the catastrophe.
