ALTHOUGH the Badminton League has been going along steadily enough, especially in "B" Division in which more matches have to be played, several teams have still not been in action.

Unless Victoria Recreation Club, however, have some dark horses whom they are keening very dark, there appears to be a strong probability that the ultimate ` champions of “B” Division will be either St. John's, Recreio or King's College.

My guess is St. John's, It has, excentionally well to have beaten been announced that they are to be St. Andrew's. K. TONG TO MEET ST. TERESA'S

(By "ADREM")

Most interesting game in this even- Ing's badminton programme will be the fixture between Kowloon Tong and St. Teresa's in "B" Division.

This match was down for Wednes-

day but owing to the fact that the Kowloon Tong Club was engaged on that evening, the game was postponed until to-night.

Lui and Woo are not likely iron many games this season, their combination being good and their range of strokes wide.

Recreio, who have not done very well in this division in previous sea- sons, are stronger than

ever and can be expected to provide a strong challenge to the leaders.

Beavan is the more experienced of the two players and it is likely that he will partner Eardley. I feel that it would be unwise to split up the other two combinations which have not often been found wanting "I don't know as yet how they will hitherto.

TAKING CHANCE

(By SCRUM-HALF) Police Rugby supporters have for some time been looking for- ward to to-morrow, when Police were to meet the Club's first fif- teen for the first time in the his- tory of the game in Hong Kong. The publication of the Club team, however, will cause some disuppont- ment as players like Stewart, Bosan- quet, Hutchison, Henderson, Castleton, Walkden, Godfrey, Alec Taylor and Needham will not be on view.

The teams are: CLUB-Thompson; Van Leeuwen, Charter Bidwell and Lavalle; Carruthers and Thomson; Heasman, Salter, Wanklyn, Kèn- nedy, Bompas, Deane, Dunnett and Stout.

row, together with Bompas. Last Saturday Deane gave a good display for Club "A", and his play at wing forward will be watched with interest. Charter was brought in at the last minute in place of Hutchison at cen- tre threequarter.

Hayward and Innes have recovered from recent injuries and Police, again at full strength, are quite likely to win by a fair margin, though I am of the opinion Salter will have the better of Cullinan at hooking and so hold up the Police attack for long periods.

Both Faggiano and Miller did not do as well as I know they are able to do.

For Tulsa both Michals and Spenko did very well indeed, the former registering 835 or an average of 187, per game, and Snenko 824 or an average of 185 per game. Peter-
