London, To-day. LATEST REPORTS FROM Helsinki indicate that the Soviet Baltic Fleet is now engaged almost in full strength against the Finnish fortifications along the southern coast.

Yesterday afternoon and evening, points all along the coast were under bombardment, and a land- ing attempt was made at Hangoe, which was beaten off with heavy loss.

Bucharest, To-day. It is reliably reported that German troops are concen- trating on the Hungarian frontier.

The headquarers of German troops in Slovakia were recently transfer- red to Prosov, which is in the imme- diate vicinity of the Sub-Carpathian Ukraine, which was incorporated into Hungary after Czechoslovakia's dis- memberment.-Havas.

A Bucharest telegram states that it is confirmed that the Nazis are con- centrating a large number of troops on the Hungarian frontier.-Reuter.

Independent quarters also speak of heavy fighting along the Mannerheim Line and in the extreme north.

Observers on the Mannerheim Front state that the Soviet troops are not adequately equipped for the rigours of the bitterly cold weather now prevailing and that prisoners taken were suffering acute distress.

All attacks on the Mannerhein Line have been repulsed with substantial losses. Tanks brought into action on this front were badly mauled and at least eighteen were destroyed.-
