ITALIAN WARNING TO SOVIET

Rome, To-day.

Italy will remain in a state of armed peace until her legitimate interests are respected and can be satisfied, states the newspaper "Tribuna," explaining Signor Mussolini's "keep your arms beside your books" "speech to students in Rome.

The "Gazetta del Popolo," in a leading article, gives an idea of the circum- stances in which Italy will feel called on to intervene.

The writer says: "Italy can never permit Bolshevik Russia to advance fur- ther beyond the Carpathians into the Danube Valley, or in the Balkans towards the Mediterranean.” Reuter.
