THE BRITISH PRESS yesterday announced the
award of the O.B.E. to two young R.A.F. pilots. One of the pilots learned to fly as a member of the Musmans Flying Club after half an hour's flying every fortnight, and only became a Flying Offi- cer in April, 1939.
This illustrates the efficiency of the Air Force training system, by which volunteers and untrained enthusiasts rapidly become brilliant and daring pilots.
