POST OFFICE
GENERAL HOLIDAY
On Saturday, 11th November, the General. Post Office and Kowloon Central Post Office will be open from 8 a.m. to noon, Sheungwan Branch Post Office will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and the other Branch Post Offices will be entirely closed.
There will be one collection from the pillar boxes as on Sundays, one delivery of ordinary correspondence at 11.30 a.m. and one delivery of re- gistered correspondence at 11 a.m.
The Branch Post Offices at Stanley, Talpó and Un Long will also have one delivery of ordinary correspondence at 11 a.m.
The Money Order Office will be entirely closed.
Small Packet Post to all countries is suspended.
A revised edition of the Hong Kong Post Office Gulde is on sale at all Post Offices prices $1.00.
Christmas and New Year Cards bearing not more than five written words and enclosed in open'envelopes are accepted by the Post Office at the rate for printed matter, l.e. 5 cents per 2 ounces, for all countries.
Hong Kong, China and Macao at 2 cents per 2 ounces. Envelopes must not be closed.
