SEVERAL BODIES
RECOVERED FROM QUEENS
U-BOAT WRECK
London, To-day. SEVERAL BODIES (one report mentions 60) have been recovered from the wrecked German sub- marine on the Goodwin Sands and landed at Dover:
Deal fishermen report that a great part of the con-
ning-tower is sticking out of the water.
While there is no official explana- tion of the wrecking of the submarine, gunfire was heard at Deal two days ago, and it is thought that the sub- marine might have been attacked,
No action was seen, however, owing to the thick sea mist.
