DAYLIGHT SAVING FOR
HONG KONG UNDER OFFICIAL CONSIDERATION
PROPOSAL FOR THE introduction into Hong Kong, for the duration of the war, of a system of daylight saving, is under consideration. Although the desire of Government in this matter has been known unofficially for some days, first disclosure was made this morning in the Chin- ese newspapers, on the basis of information de- rived from the Chinese Chamber of Commerce, which has been invited to express an opinion on the proposal.

AMERICANS ARRESTED IN STOCKHOLM

Three Americans have: been arrested under the new Swedish law relating to es- pionage.
