BLAME GOEBBELS, NOT US

London, To-day.

The final nail in the Nazi coffin of lies about the sink- ing of the Ark Royal has been provided by the Ger- man pilots themselves, Lord Donegall revealed yesterday.

The German air pilots at first re- ported having sunk the Ark Royal, but soon discovered that she was still sailing, safe and sound.

Dr. Goebbels, undeterred by their hurried correction,, continued to broadcast, the sinking of the aircraft carrier.

Later it was announced by the Air Ministry that since the attack on the British convoy in the North Sea on Saturday, five German airmen have been picked up and landed by traw- lers.

Three of them were found in a rubber boat.

Thus confirmation has been obtain- ed that in addition to three German machines brought down, a fourth was badly damaged and fell into the sea.

Three of the rescued airmen were seriously injured.--Reuter.

Dally raids, with the exception of Thursday, have been carried out since The German pilots, however, pre- Monday last.
