FOOD INCREASING

London, To-day.

Plans for increasing Bri- the management tain's food production were announced yesterday by Sir Reginald Dorman-Smith, Minister of Agriculture.

It will be held daily in the Ball- room from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and, as at the other Centres, all who can come will be welcomed.

Another Centre has been opened at the Club de Recreio, and will meet on Tuesday afternoons from 3 p.m.--7 p.m.

At the Emergency Centre conduct ed by Mrs. Steele-Perkins at the He- lena May Institute on Wednesday mornings, over 400 bandages and slings have been finished, and thanks are due to those, who as well as work- ing, have given materials and money, thus making it possible to do so much .without 'delay.

The office of the Hon: Secretary of the Fund, which has been lent by the Chartered Bank, has proved most con- venient and central.

A very generous offer has been made by Millington Ltd. They have undertaken to renovate any old toys which are sent to them, and to sell, them for the Fund. Those who have old toys are invited to send them or

ask Millington's to collect them, as soon as possible, (Telephone No. 34191), so that the Fund may benefit by this kind offer.
