THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING of the above Society will be held in the Board Room, South China Morning Post, Ltd., on TUESDAY, 17th October, 1939 at 5.45 p.m., for the purposes of receiving the Annual Report and Statement of Accounts. for the year ended 31st August, 1939 and of electing office bearers for the ensuing year, etc.

THE HONG KONG JOCKEY CLUB

THE NINTH EXTRA RACE MEETING will be held (weather permitting) at HAPPY VAL- LEY on SATURDAY, 21st October, 1939, commencing at 2.00 p.m.

The First Bell will be rung at 1.30 p.m.

MEMBERS' ENCLOSURE No One without a badge will be admitted to the Members' Enclosure. Such must be worn throughout the duration of each Meeting in such a manner as to be readily identified.

Badges admitting Non-Mem- bers to the Members' Enclosure and Club Rooms at $5.00 for Gentlemen and $3.00 for Ladies (both including tax) are obtain- able through the SECRETARY upon the personal or written ap- plication of a Member, such Momber to be responsible for all visitors introduced by him, and for Payment of all Chits, etc.
