SPORTS PARADE
THE performance of Drake in goal for Chinese team but they would not be die-
Charity the Association team in the football game on Tuesday showed that there must be other players in the different clubs in First Division who have not received any representative recognition in charity and games,
Had the Officer in charge of sports not sent Drake down as a reserve in place of Jackson, who was not at the last moment able to turn out, it would have taken a long time before Drake would have caught the eye of the selectors of future teams.
It is known that for some time past a This is team from the rest of the Clubs has seldom beaten a combined Chinese team. due not to the individual inferiority of the Rest team to the Chinese side but because have the better understanding the latter
essential and combination-a factor very in football.
There are a number of players in First division Division and even in the Junior which could hold their own in a represen-
tative game if given a chance and it is hoped that they will be given this chance

boys' charity game last Tuesday has such fixture when the next charity game is prompted the organisers to stage another played, probably on November 11.
General admiration was expressed at the played and the high standard of soccer wit sporting manner in which the game was nessed.
It is intended, to give more schoolboys a chance in the next game and it is under- stood that that a height limit will be intro- duced in order to balance the sides and make the game more evenly contested.
