Mrs. Phyllis Bliss Due Back Shortly
(By "ADREM")
ONE LADIES' HOCKEY TEAM which has no cause for worry with regard to the coming season is St. Andrew's Club.
With practically all of last season's team available and several very talented recruits, there is no reason why they should not finish up in an even better position this year than the runners-up berth which they occupied at the conclusion of the last season.
TALENT SUMMARISED A great deal, however, depends upon circumstances. Mrs. Phyllis Bliss A summary of their talent is ap- Miss June (Phyllis Gittins) is on leave in the pended: Goal-keepers:

SEVERE LOSS

This fact
Most serious loss sustained by the Saints is the departure of Miss Petigura, former Shanghai Interport half-back, for Shanghai. however, solves rather than compli- cates the half-back line-up problem.
With the talent so far available for half-back berths, biggest problem would have been who to omit.

HONG KONG LADIES CONFIDENT
With most of last year's players available and streng- thened by several newcomers Hong Kong Ladies' Hockey Club are looking forward with confidence to a very successful season.
They will be without the services of Miss R. Smith and Miss Simpson who have left the Colony, while Miss B. Pope their First Division and Interport pivot, will not be playing this season. The Reeve sisters are also doubtful starters.
Against this, however, Hong Kong Ladies have secured the services of seven new players.
