Ma Fu, magter of the junk, report- ed this morning that whilst sailing towards the Colony last night his boat was stopped by another containing some 20 pirates, three of whom were -armed with rifles.
Ma' and his crew were ordered into a smaller boat and the junk, with cargo, was taken in tow by the pirates.
