`HONG KONG HAS REPLIED to the message of the Secretary of State for the Colonies, expressing unshakable determination to do everything in its power towards securing victory.
His Excellency the Governor, in his telegram in re- ply, refers to a loyal declaration by members of the leaders of the Chinese community. The text of the cables exchanged follows:
