HITLER'S SIXTEEN POINT "OFFER" TO POLAND

Berlin, To-day.

A LONG GERMAN STATEMENT published last evening in Berlin gives a complete survey of the Anglo-German exchange of Notes and reiterates the events of the last few days.

It is stated that following a suggestion made by Bri- tain the Reich Government declared it was ready to receive a Polish negotiator up to mid- night on Wednesday, August 30, to begin nego- tiations.

Previously.the German Government

had informed the British Government in fullest detail on all points which would be placed by the Reich ernment before the Polish negotiator.

The Polish Government, how- ever, did not accept the German readiness to negotiate, and re- plied by general mobilisation.
