DANZIG'S HOUR DRAWS NEAR

HERR FORSTER Danzig, To-day.

:

The "present situation with the present frontiers cannot and must not con- tinue," declared the Nazi Régional Leader for Danzig, Albert Forster, addressing a mass meeting at the Danzig suburb of Langfuhr yester- day.

Forster added that the situation was grave, but everybody should know that there are questions in the life of nations which must be solved no matter how great the difficulties,

For twenty years, Danzigers had been speaking of their wish to return to the Reich.

The hour of return was now draw- ing near.

Unofficial sources declare that facts have now been furnished in sufficient detail as to justify official attention to the "confession."

In view of reports that the Japanese Intend to re-occupy the Walchow area, and are operating up the Canton-Kowloon Raliway towards Sheklung, it is considar- ed possible that the new landing ia connected with this cam- paign.

Reports from the border this morning indicate that the at- mosphere is somewhat more tense, although no incident of any kind has occurred and the ac- tions of the Japanese show that they are anxious to avoid any possibility of incident.

Tightening up of the "block- ade", however, is marked. Ad- ditional troops are being landed to and Chinese are not allowed cross into British territory.
