Seventy-six notified to Medical Department last week, the highest return since the
epidemic began this year. Fifty-four deaths occurred as a result of the disease during the same period.
Fifty-one of the total cases were from Victoria and 21 from Kowloon.
There were also 23 typhoid cases (with six deaths) and 27: dysentery (with 12 deaths). Tuberculosis noti-
fications totalled 157, with 82 deaths.
Yesterday's figures showed 12 fur- ther cholera cases, nine in Victoria and three in Kowloon.
