If you like this style, and yet have a very full face, bring the sides in close and it will be more becoming.
If you have an irregular hairline, this style should be excellent for you, because the hairline is broken by lit- tle curls. It is well, if you wish to look your best, to consider your hair- line carefully before deciding on

Why is it that in so many homes these days,
The courtesies of the old world are fast disappearing?
:
Good manners are preserved for those
outside the home
Hats off, bow the head, chair forward,
chivalrous gesture
For special friends, perhaps, even for
strangers.
Yet there was an exquisite charm in
bygone ages
When men doffed their caps, bowed
low, and were
In turn offered a curtsey by women
in their own families.
When a fragrant hand was tendered
for a gallant kiss!
When men rushed to open doors, and
rose to offer a seat, When nothing was done before

Lest an action should give offence.' A hope that it might bring pleasure. Was it a waste of time? Were they
unnecessary frills?
Does the world move too fast to-day
for such chivalry?

the losers
Because fine manners used to be an
art.
And it is sad that we can no longer
count ourselves artists.
