NEW ZEALAND LOAN OFFER
London, To-day.
The Governor and Company of the Bank of England give notice that they are authorised to re- ceive applications for New Zea- land Government 3% per cent. conversion stock, 1939 to 1945.
Interest is payable half-yearly at the Bank of England on January 1 and July 1.
Amount of issue is £16,000,000, and the first payment of £1.15.0 per £100 stock, being the full six months interest, will be made on January 1, 1940.
Holders of New Zealand Gov- ernment 31⁄2 per cent. stock, 1940, which is due to be repaid on Janu- ary 1, 1940, may surrender their holdings in sums of £100 and re- ceive in exchange for each £100 stock surrendered £100 New Zea- land Government 31⁄2 per cent, con- version stock, 1939 to 1945, toge- ther with cash payment at the rate of £1 per cent.
