Dr. Goebbels, the Nazi Propaganda Minister, an- swers Commander King-Hall in an article which appears in all German newspapers.
Dr. Goebbels says: "I answer not because we regard Commander King-Hall as more important than he is in reality, but be- cause fortunate chance has brought it to our knowledge that the letters were written, printed and despatched on behalf of and with the intellectual co-operation of the Foreign Secretary, Lord Halifax, himself."

Commander King-Hall, in one of his letters, is stated to have written that the average Englishman is in- dignant at the scandalous way in which the German Government violated the Munich Agreement,

King-Hall is also re- ported to have said that Italy is very short of raw materials and is without great powers of resistance, and that when the war was over, a peace treaty, would be made by which in comparison the Versailles Treaty would be child's play.
