London, To-day--Bright sunshine and a light breeze marked yesterday's play at Wimbledon where the men's singles, the principal event, is drawing to the concluding stages.
Feature of the current tournament has been the elimination of several "seeded" players and the really excellent perform- ances of Ghaus Mohammed, of India, an ex- tremely cautious player, who has reached the last eight.
