YORKSHIRE'S TRIUMPHANT MARCH

London, To-day. Yorkshire continue their triumphant march towards the championship over- riding all their opponents with consummate ease.

The much-improved Glamrogan is the latest county to fall before their onslaught, losing their match at Bradford, in two days, by an innings and 95 runs.

Verity and Hutton were chiefly res- ponsible for the Tykes' victory. The former's bowling was unplayable-he took 14 wickets in the course of the match ridiculously cheaply-and Hut- ton made a century.

Glamorgan batsmen failed miserably and were only able to total 168 and 65 in their two innings.

Gloucestershire, another county that is meeting with considerable success, also won their match in two days but it was not in the county championship, their victims being Cambridge Univer-

sity.

Scoring throughout was low, only time when batsmen did get on top be- ing in the fourth innings when Glou- cester's opening batsmen added 107 without being separated.

and

West Indies won their two-day match against Lincolnshire by an innings and

Constantino's bowling Stollmeyer's and Grant's batting being the deciding factors.
