An ex- cellent and cheap polish for wood is made by melting together an ounce each of white wax and beeswax When slightly cooled pour in a cup- ful of turpentine. Do not use this, however, on the new cellulosed woods or on French polish,
PARAFFIN
Paraffin is another cleaner which costs next to nothing. It will polish tiles, porcelain, and enamel, and will not only polish linoleum but help to preserve it. It will re- move grease and dirt from the out- side of cookers, and is as useful as ammonia for cleaning and polishing windows and paintwork.
