Complete quiet prevailed yesterday in the Nomon- han district on the Outer Mongolian frontier following Sunday's clash between Mongolian and Manchurian forces.
Reports from Hsinking state that no Mongolian or Soviet troops or planes were sighted in the dis- trict.
In its protest to the Outer Mon- golian Government, the Manchu- kuoan Government alleges that in- vasions of Manchukuo have been taking place since May 11, and the first protest was lodged on May 15.
The protest alleges that Mongo- its forces since

This "finally compelled" Manchu- kuo to take steps in "self-defence," with the aid of Japanese troops.
