LIBRARY

When the first Branch of the Royal Asiatic Society in Hong Kong was wound up in 1859 it had a substantial and valuable library which was presented to the Morrison Educational Society.

The present Branch, which was resuscitated in 1959, is in the process of accumulating a library of books and journals concerning East Asia which will be worthy of the Society.

We are anxious to increase the size of this library and anyone who would be willing to donate any books or journals is invited to get in touch with the Hon. Librarian, Mr. John Le Mare, c/o Butterfield and Swire, Hong Kong.
