Daily Market Disputes: Grumbling Women Arrested

Rocketing prices and acute shortage of food- stuffs in Berlin are now giving rise daily to angry scenes in the public markets.

Violent disputes constantly take place between wholesalers and small retailers, and between the retailers and housewives who come to the stalls and

do their marketing.
