OXFORD UNION FAVOURS CONSCRIPTION
London, Apr. 28. The Oxford Union to-day adopt- ed, by 423 votes to 326, a resolu- tion approving the establishment of conscription in Britain.
Most of the erities referred less to the conscription itself that to the Government's policy or its composition. The resolution is very much in contrast with the one adopted in 1933 which assert. ed that "in no circumstances wil we fight, even for the King and for peace."-Havan.
