A trick of dividing a $10 into two parts, was revealed at the Central Magistracy this morning, when a 26-year-old unemployed Chinese named Chan Piu, was charged before Mr. R. A. D. For- rest with attempting to obtain $9.75 and a pack of cards, from No. 40 Hennessy Road on Satur- day last.
Defendant also faced three other charges on the same count.
