BAD WEATHER AIDS CHINESE OFFENSIVE
Macao, To-day.
Taking advantage of the - bad weather, which prevents Japanese plancs from taking part in military operations, the Chinese are attack- ing with considerable success at Sunwul, Kongmoon, Yung-ki, Kau- kong and around Canton, according to reports from
this Shek-ki morning.
An unconfirmed report states that the Chinese have reached the out- skirts
south- of Tungkun-Hsien west of Shek-lung Po On District, and that furious fighting is going on in heavy rain.
The Japanese are concentrating a large number of warships and transports in the Pearl River.
Vernacular press reports opti- mistically predict that this means that the Japanese are preparing to abandon Canton.

SUNWUI RETAKEN
Macao, To-day. Sunwui has been retaken by fierce Chinese troops who, in a counter-attack yesterday in heavy rain, forced the Japanese to retreat towards Kongmoon.
Late last night it was reported that fighting was continuing mid- way between Kongmoon and Sun- wui.-Our Own Correspondent.
