In the semi-final of the second stage of the Ewo League, the "Competitors" beat the "Strollers" by 249 points at the Hong Kong Bowling Alleys last evening.
The winners now meet "Hong Kong Wonders" in the final.
E. Hearther made the highest score of the match, 259, which was also the highest score of the month, the record for the Alleys since the opening being 266.

While girls' softball in Hong Kong is still in its infancy the game is extremely popular in the Islands and the game was played as far back as 1911 though the rules have undergone many, changes.
High Standard
The game is played in most schools and there are a large num- ber of teams in Manila, where the standard is high.
It will take a few years more for, Hong Kong to reach a standard by which they could hope to extend Manila.
