The first interview between the Rumanian Foreign Minister, M. Gafencu, and the Nazi Foreign Minister, Herr von Ribbentrop. took place yesterday afternoon and lasted two hours.
Official quarters remain reticent as the questions discussed during the talks, which will be continued to-day.
In a speech at a banquet given for the Rumanian diplomats, Herr von Ribbentrop said their presence in Berlin offered the opportunity for a "frank exchange of views."
