EXPOSITION
OMMEMORATIVE stamps in honour of the Golden Gate Ex- position have been announced by several nations, including Ecuador and Salvador. Salvador's issue will consist of three values, printed in large size. Designs will be the Gold- en Gate Bridge on the 15 centavos value, California's coat of arms the 30c stamp and Salvador's coat of arms on the 30c value.

SET FROM VENEZUELA
JENEZUELA, the world's second largest postage stamp contribu- tor in 1928; has issued a nine value air mail set commemorating the Bat- tle of Carabobo on June 24th, 1821. This battle, led by Simon Bolivar, marked the end of Spanish Tale in Venezuela. Illustrated on the stamp set are two monuments erected to res call the engagement, One, erected on the plains of Carabobo la pictured on the 45 centimos steel bhie, 700 bright red and 1.35 Bolivufès” gray adhesives.
