NAZI PRESS CONTINUES ITS HYMN OF HATE: 'CZECH BRUTALITY' ALLEGED

London, To-day.

The German press shows no signs of abating its at- tacks on the Czechs, and continues to publish a series of alleged incidents in which Germans are stated to have been involved.

The German minority in Bruenn, the largest Ger- man settlement inside the Czech State, is re- ported to be a victim of "Czech brutality," and these press reports have caused indignation to flare up in Germany. Headlines in the "Voelkischer Beobachter" deolare: "German blood again flowing. In Bruenn."

The "Montagspost" speaks of & "Monstrous Czech terror."

Meanwhile the British press takes things calmly.

Owing to the absence from Lon- don of several Cabinet members and a number of leading British poli- ticians, comment on the events Slovakia is not yet available.

CHINA WAR STRATEGY IN

SECOND PERIOD

CHUNGKING, TO-DAY. CHINA'S STRATEGY FOR THE SECOND PERIOD OF THE SINO-

JAPANESE HOSTILITIES WAS DECIDED UPON AT AN IM- THOROUGHLY DISCUSSED AND

PORTANT MILITARY CONFER- ENCE WHICH HAS JUST BEEN CONCLUDED AT AN UNDIS- CLOSED PLACE.

Army commanders attending the conference received specific in- structions regarding the prosecu ation of guerilla warfare as well as counter-measures against Japanese political and economic penetration.

The "Daily Telegraph," however, says that Germany has exercised the strongest pressure to have the autonomy question settled in manner agreeable to Germany.

The Nazi press (saya a Berlin message) reports incidents, between Germans and Czech gendarmes from Iglau.

Czech gendarmes are alleged to have charged with fixed bayonets after the swastika flag had been hoisted on the Town Hall.-Trans- Ocean.
