EASTERN OVERWHELM ST. JOSEPH'S

Adapting themselves better to the conditions as the result of the previous day's play, Eastern overwhelmed weak St. Joseph's side by five cleaf goals, in their postponed· First Division League soccer encounter, on the Club ground, yesterday.

The Saints had Hussain, in goal, in place of U. B. Souza, while D. Leonard took over the centre-half berth.. L. Souza, who is still nursing a strained thigh, was seen at inside-right, while Eastern were without. Hau Ching-to | and Meu Wah-kwok,

The ground was exceptionally slip- pery, and play was therefore difficult for either side.. Eastern, however, showed better ball control and made good use of their wingers.

The Chinese played very well, but the Saints were slow and mishandled many opportunities.

Lee Tacky, Eastern's brilliant centre- forward, opened the score in the first | few minutes of the game when he tipped a lob from Woo over the head of Hussain, who went out to receive the ball. Lee was also responsible for the second goal, which was scored; easily, as the Saints' goal-keeper and right-back both slipped in trying save the shot.

Leading two nil at half-time, East- ern resumed play with noticeable con- fidence, and their opponents were led to make many mistakes. A prominent feature of second-half play was the bright goal-keeping by Hussain, who saved many hard shots, Soong. Ling-

Pain may prevent sleep, worrying thoughts may make it difficult, digestive disorders are a common source of the trouble and weak nerves may so disturb your rest that you wake at every slight, sound, After a time, the very dread- of insomnia is itself a pre-disposing cause. It is a condition which must be cor- rected without delay.

Many 'Bufferers from insomnia have found sound, health-giving: sleep re- stored after taking a course of Dr. Williams' Pink Pills. The reason is this.
