Dominating the English bowling on a rain soaked wicket, South Africa are 34 runs ahead of England with six wickets in hand as a result of yesterday's play, in the Fourth Test Match. England's flelding was poor and both Van Der Byl and Bruce Mitchell were dropped, the former when he had scored 22 and the latter when at 19. Alan Melville the Springbok captain, and Bruce Mitchell, were both in great form and contributed materially towards South Africa's present strong position.
