Air Vice-Marshal H. M. Cave- Browne-Cave, commanding No. 25 (Armament) Group, R.A.F., was seriously injured when the plane in which he was flying, crashed at Butley, 20 miles north of Ipswich.
The pilot was killed and Air Vice-Marshal Cave-Browne-Cave is now in an Ipswich Hospital with severe head injuries.-Reu- ter.
