Revealing Report By League Committee
Geneva, To-day.
When the League Council began its public sitting yesterday, it had before it the Report drawn up by the committee of three (France, Britain and Iran) on the withdrawal of non-Spanish com- batants from Republican Spain.
The Report showed that the total number of such combatants counted in Barcelona and the cen- tral zone was 12,673, and that all these effec- tives had now been withdrawn from combatant units.
A total of 6,490 non-Spanish combatants had so far
been evacuated from Spain.
